Bali Golden Visa is an editorial and coordination desk tracking Indonesia’s Golden Visa tiers, their investment thresholds and the documents each tier actually asks for.
What this desk covers
The Golden Visa is not one product. It is a family of five- and ten-year routes separated by whether the applicant places funds, founds a company, or qualifies through a corporate sponsor — and the threshold attached to each moves. Our job is to keep the tier table honest: which route, which sum, which proof of funds, and what the holder may and may not do once inside the country. Investment thresholds are quoted with the date we last confirmed them, because a stale figure here is not a small error.
Where the numbers come from
Thresholds and eligibility come from Ditjen Imigrasi announcements and the ministerial regulation behind them, with company-formation questions cross-checked against the OSS licensing system and BKPM guidance on foreign investment. Where a press release and the operative regulation disagree — which happened repeatedly during the scheme’s first year — we quote the regulation and flag the discrepancy.
What we do not claim
We are not a licensed investment adviser and we do not hold ourselves out as one. Nothing here is a recommendation to place capital in Indonesia, and no page on this site carries a personal licence number, bar admission or professional title, because the desk does not hold any. Capital decisions belong with a regulated adviser in your own jurisdiction.
Talking to us about a tier
Tier questions are answered against the current regulation, not from memory. Open a thread through the contact page and quote the tier you are looking at.
